Holiday Gift Guide: Secret Santa Edition (Under $18)

Image Credit: Canopic via PhotoPin CC
Hi there! While giving is lovely during the holiday season, it can also be very pricey and can take a toll on your wallet. There are always those people that you want to get a gift for, but don't have much money to spend on them. That's why I thought it'd be helpful to share some of my ideas for cute little gifts that you can get your friends that won't break the bank. These gifts will also be a bit more gender-friendly compared to my previous one that was just for her. Of course, there will be some gits that only girls will probably enjoy, but there are also a few bits for him as well.

Enjoy!

EOS Rachel Roy Holiday Lip Balm in Winterberry ($3.49)

Nearly everyone has talked about or tried EOS lip balms and while some aren't the biggest fan, I personally love them and know bunch of people who do so as well. In a collaboration with Rachel Roy, they've released three new scents and they would make such a cute present. You could totally add some chocolates or homemade cookies to the gift as well.

Topshop Velvet Cameo Choker ($15.66)

The cameo charm always looks so cool and chic, so if you've got a friend who's into trying some new and quirky things fashion-wise, this would be an awesome gift for her.

ASOS Touchscreen Bow Gloves ($14.96)

TONS of people have smartphones these days and I find that they either have a touchscreen phone or none at all. Since it's also pretty cold out and stereotypically (and in reality) as teenagers, we still go on our phones despite how cold our hands will be. You could bring a bit of comfort to your friends' lives by getting them a pair of touchscreen gloves so they can still text away without freezing their poor fingers off.

If $15 is a bit much for your budget, Target also has some super inexpensive pairs as well for $9 for THREE pairs.

New Look Shearling Mittens ($14.93)

I know that the previous item were to warm your hands as well, but these just look so beautiful and luxurious, especially for the price. The feel of shearling is just so nice and anyone in your life who likes to be a bit more fancy with their winter accessories would absolutely adore this.

It's also available in a tan colour.

Mooseberry Cases Customisable Donut iPhone Case ($16)

Again with the technology trend, we all need phone cases to protect our beloved friends from heartbreaking damage. These cases have super cute donuts on them, but they aren't overly sweet and girly because of the navy blue that tones it down a bit. You could also customise it for your loved one by having their name or a cute little phrase on it.

Urban Outfitters Holiday Tree Glasses ($8)

These glasses are just a novelty item, but if you have someone in your life who loves a good laugh or a goofy gift, this would be great for them. If you get a bunch of your friends matching pairs, you could take a load of cute photos with them.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Plum Velour ($7.99)

This is a lipstick that I've been obsessed with for the past few weeks and have worn it quite a bit. If you're friend is a bit daring and into beauty, and you want to treat her to a little something this holiday season, this would make for a lovely gift that isn't too expensive at all.

Urban Outfitters Coffee Stencil Set ($12)

While a mug is a pretty cute gift for a coffee lover, this one just takes it to another level. With these stencils, they can have cool designs on their coffee like mustaches and a reindeer.

Travalo in Excel Pink ($18)

This is the most expensive gift out of the 10, but it's a super useful one for the perfume lover in your friend group. Carrying a big bottle of perfume can be both annoying and risky when you're travelling, or even just for going to school. With this, you basically put it overtop of your perfume bottle pump and you pump the Travalo a few times to fill it up. Then, you just use it like a mini bottle of perfume. Extremely convenient.

Herschel Rustic Together Cardholder ($13.99)

Last, but not least is a little cardholder. Sometimes, you just don't want to carry your whole wallet with you, whether it's to school or in a small handbag. This is perfect for when all you need are some cards and a bit of cash and is a no-fuss alternative to a massive wallet. This is also great for that person in your life who's always losing their cards and cash because they don't have anything to carry it in.
